This position is will provide clerical support to several departments and act as a back-up to other support staff.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities Key Accountabilities:
Provides clerical support to Purchasing Department.
Filing and organizing of purchasing documents for product orders.
Follow up with suppliers on orders.
Send documents to suppliers for quoting purposes.
Occasional data-entry projects.
And others duties that pertain to clerical/administration functions.
No direct responsibility for supervising others.
No travel required.

Basic understanding of filing systems.

Knowledge of duties in the purchasing field.
Knowledge with Purchasing/Materials tools and a MRP system.
Proven people skills required, must have ability to work with others while effectively handling internal pressures.
Processes related to purchasing.
Experience with Product Development.
Experience in negotiation and cost reduction.
Familiar with ISO TL 9000 Procedures.
