The Clerk is responsible for supporting EasyVoucher processors and staff.
Receives, sorts, and routes mail to appropriate personnel. Handles all outgoing mail/packages and scans daily mail as appropriate; ascertains its importance and follows office protocol. (Note – this applies to internal mail and misdirected program mail, tenant/landlord mail will be directed through document management services)
Listen to and log calls from Fraud Hotline.
Scans and indexes documents as needed per Housing Choice Voucher Program protocol
Maintains an inventory of supplies necessary for the adequate functioning of the file room
Performs general clerical duties.
Supports Service Center Staff
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Entry level position with 1 to 2 years office experience required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Strong organizational skills
Ability to read, write and speak English
Ability to manipulate necessary office equipment, computers, scanners, and peripherals
