Screening Process
Successful completion a criminal records check and a drug screening test.

Primary Function
Under general supervision, perform standardized typing tasks requiring accurate typing as well as general clerical duties as defined by departmental procedure and accepted business practices.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Accurately type letters, memoranda, forms and reports and other data as directed by department requirements.

Perform related clerical duties and maintain all records.

Perform other related duties as assigned, including but not limited to those items specified in departmental operating procedures.


High school graduation or equivalent, including or supplemented by courses in business skills and typing.

Six months* work experience in a position utilizing related skills required.

Ability to type 40 net words per minute.

*Approved education beyond high school may be considered in lieu of work experience.
