Advertised Summary Job Description
Clerk (part time) will provide general support required by the Molecular Pathology Shared Facility of the Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center of Columbia University in its operations. In part he or she will work in the Histology and Tumor Bank service. Duties include but are not limited to: entering and managing data in the lab's database(s), creating reports; this position involves physical work, such as collecting and returning frozen tissues freezers, 10-12 hour each week. Working time is flexible.

High school graduate or equivalency preferred. The candidate selected for this position is required to undergo a drug screening test prior to a final offer of employment being made.

To be able to work independently. Excellent communication and organization skill. Practical computer skill specifically in access database, Microsoft Word and Excel.
