Summary:
The clerk is responsible for data entry, filing, photo copying, sorting and/or distribution of documents as directed by the supervisor in the Claims function.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
File documents according to supervisory direction.

Enter or key information into a computer for the Claims function.

Distribute documents to the appropriate personnel as required/needed.

Regular attendance is an essential function of the job and is required

The Clerk may be requested to code or load information into the computer or other filing means.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and/or Experience:
High School diploma or GED

Prior office experience

Some experience with Word, Excel and window based programs is preferred.

Required Competencies:
Able to learn and retain instructions

Capable of changing tasks or multi -tasking when needed

Good verbal communication skills

Physical Requirements or Environmental Factors:
Must be able to key data in an office setting.

Capable of carrying minimal office documents for short distances

Overtime required during peak season
