PRIMARY PURPOSE : To communicate standard bank offerings to clients, brokers, carriers and company program managers; to coordinate establishment of new client bank accounts; to provide direction to local offices and banking colleagues; and to perform escrow reviews as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicates standard bank offerings to clients, brokers, carriers and company program managers as required, including participation on New Client Implementation teams.

  • Provides day-to-day direction and leadership to local offices and banking colleagues.

  • Serves as liaison for clients, implementation managers, program managers, carriers, banking partners, check printing vendors, and Corporate IT colleagues to establish new bank accounts.

  • Maintains required documentation for authorized signers on existing bank accounts.

  • Works with clients, banks and local office to identify and resolve problems.

  • Maintains and confirms client/carrier escrow balances in loss fund accounts managed by the Company.

  • Creates and maintains database of escrow balances by bank account and retains confirmation letters signed by client/carrier.

  • Calculates escrow requirements annually (and as needed) based on actual loss activity and notifies client/carrier of adjustment needs.

  • Responsible for maintaining and confirming client/carrier escrow balances in loss fund accounts managed by the Company.

  • Analyzes historical bank account activity of client/carrier to uncover and identify shortfalls in the initial deposit balance; explains differences to client/carrier.

  • Responsible for collecting and maintaining appropriate documentation in client files supporting the implementation set-up and escrow requirements.

  • Manages the external confirmation process for clients' escrow balances.

  • ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Supports the total performance management initiative.

  • QUALIFICATIONS

    Education & Licensing
    BS/BA degree strongly preferred. Courses in accounting, finance or banking preferred.

    Experience
    Three (3) years of experience in banking, accounting or related business required.
