The Adaptly Client Business Partner is both a proactive and reactive thought leader and collaborative member of the Client Service team who executes against large-scale projects within interdisciplinary teams. A self starter with digital advertising experience, ability to work independently and a passion for ad tech, the Client Business Partner will spend significant time working with Clients, gaining deep insight into their business and becoming a trusted, strategic thought partner and advisor, which will lead to retained business, ongoing growth and partnership of key accounts and ensure Client satisfaction.Â

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Relationship Development - serve as day to day liaison between Adaptly and Clients as well as internally between Client Services, Ad Operations and Sales Teams
  • Develop, manage and maintain client business partnerships with senior-level strategic Clients, managing the business objectives and overall relationships
  • Proactively acquire knowledge of Client’s business, developing cohesive, compelling strategic visions for our Clients that guide their overall business plans, help them and their business development teams socialize the strategy to the greater organization and ensure all relevant opportunities may be pursued/evolvedÂ

  • Serve as a liaison with Clients regarding new product launches (internal and external), business opportunities and Client service issues

  • Work towards recurring revenue via upsell, results and relationship management, strategically cultivate new opportunities, drive incremental sales, (proactive suggestions, ongoing dialogue during and after the course of campaign)

  • Maintain open, frequent and transparent communication, collaborating and mastering cross functional teamwork while managing work-streams and projects in support of Client initiatives

  • With Sales leading, provide input, guidance to best respond to and develop RFPs and participate in pitches and business development

  • Partner with Sales/Product Marketing on project briefs, case studies and ensure consistent delivery and collaboration on objectives throughout projects

  • Work closely with Product to determine if any special requests from Clients on larger initiatives that may lead to new product offerings/incremental business are feasible

  • Master and communicate new and standing supplier side products so they may be best recommended/sold/implemented in campaigns (leverage Director or Client Service’s (DCS) and Director of Marketing’s expertise and focus on ongoing insights, education and communication of these offerings to Clients on a continuous basis)

  • Consistently leverage Adaptly platform prowess for best rates/opportunities and communicate Adaptly’s value proposition as it best satisfies a prospect/Client’s needs in terms of quality and delivery

  • Maintain appropriate and responsive working relationships with Clients as well as vendors, agency partners, etc

  • Along with the Solutions Engineer/Sales: Â

  • Provide Client technical account management and product education

  • Gather and interpret customer requirements to define new customer requests, implement custom technology solutions and communicate to Product/Engineering

  • Understand dynamic business models, strategically implement our technology partner’s solutions and work closely with teams internally acting as the Client advocate

  • Work with DCS and Solutions Engineer to communicate any day to day issues related to launching new Facebook/other platform products (e.g. analytics issues, launch deadlines, API integration challenges)

Requirements
  • 5+ years working in Digital/Strategic Planning providing strategic brand and business counsel to blue chip Clients; 2+ years creating opportunities for brands in digital or social

  • The ability to overcome a brand/business challenge through the development of a social media roadmap that weaves seamlessly into the consumer journey

  • Strong analytical skills, business acumen with a industry presence who has a knack for ideas and business building

  • Accustomed to developing big ideas that forge strong emotional connections between brand and consumer

  • A passion for social media and ad tech and a knowledge how to leverage them to achieve marketing goals

  • Innate curiosity, aptitude and hands-on approach

  • A knack for delivering strategic solutions as well as rolling up your sleeves with Adaptly Tech and Product Teams and bringing those ideas to life

  • Proven ability to build relationships (internally and with Clients)

  • Demonstrated experience communicating broad strategic initiatives to key stakeholders

  • Dynamic story teller/presenter, with a history of pitching and winning business from new and existing clients

  • Must be proactive, results oriented, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment being committed to growing Client relationships and making our partners successful
