FactSet Client Data Integration is a team of client facing specialists focused on the process and development cycle surrounding the integration of client financial assets onto FactSet’s systems. The ability for clients to view, analyze and benchmark their own proprietary data is a key differentiator for FactSet, with products such as Portfolio Analysis, Risk, and a suite of Fixed Income applications relying on the timeliness and accuracy of portfolio data and other data sets.

Specialists are expected to design and improve the processes involved in the specification of required investment data, extraction from accounting systems, and validation of resulting data. There are many technologies and individuals involved in an integration process; the successful candidate will have both financial and interpersonal skill sets to efficiently shepherd the process from start to finish.

In addition to working directly with clients, custodians and other FactSet specialists on the total universe of asset classes, there will be broad exposure to FactSet business practices, products and infrastructure. This provides many opportunities to further develop individual financial asset knowledge and technical engineering skills, as well as contribute to product design and internal software development.

Responsibilities

+ Work with financial assets including equities, fixed income, derivatives and other financial instruments

+ Understand relevance of data fields and their requirements as defined by the features and products

+ Plan and execute entire implementation and sales process with sales specialists to meet unique client needs

+ Collaborate with sales specialists to outline financial data requirements for individual clients

+ Become familiar with third-party accounting and order management systems

+ Oversee and improve existing data integration processes between clients and FactSet

+ Design and draft client-side and FactSet data transforms and other processes

+ Occasional travel to client sites during major implementations

Job Requirements :
Candidates with the following skills are highly desired

+ Knowledge of equity and non-equity products (e.g. futures, options) and their valuation

+ Knowledge of portfolio management mechanics (e.g. allocation and diversification)

+ Experience with the FactSet software, including the Portfolio Analytics suite

+ Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

+ Strong analytical and problem solving skills
+ Ability to work both independently and in groups and set goals based on shifting priorities
