Core Responsibilities

As a Clinical Development Coordinator you will be responsible for:
•Works with Business Intelligence and Business Development teams to conduct research on prospective clients, recommends direct points of contact, and prioritize efforts.
•Initiates and maintains contact with prospective clients prior to Business Development involvement.
•Qualifies inbound leads for follow up from unallocated clients. Works directly with the Business Intelligence team to evaluate, research, and prioritize potential clients.
•Conducts detailed research on each account to assess ideal points of entry and potential pain points. Uses online resources to map out organizations and determine potential initial points of contact.
•Communicates with prospective clients in order to determine eminent clinical development needs.
•Validates prospective clients for potential transfer to Business Development.
•Documents progress in Customer Relationship Management (CRM), including lead research, and tracking contacts and follow-up.

Skills & Attributes

We are seeking candidates with the following key attributes:
•BA/BS degree in a biological science, related field, or equivalent education and experience.
•Some experience in Customer Relationship development and management, predominantly via phone.
•Working knowledge of clinical development.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), email, and voicemail. CRM skills beneficial.

•Effective written interpersonal, and presentation skills.
•Ability to conduct research using various online resources.
•Advanced problem solving skills relating to diligently researching prospective clients.
•Above average attention to detail, accuracy and organizational, skills.
•Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines preferred.
