The position serves as the custodian of the SPi Healthcare-client relationship, fostering organizational connectivity via personal interaction. The Client Executive will proactively manage the relationship through understanding the client’s needs and financial performance, and then utilizing the information to establish a partnership between organizations. Specific responsibilities include identifying potential operational gaps adversely impacting financial performance through assessment of customer metrics and trends, deepening SPi Healthcare relationships through proficient communication, and executing a diplomatic resolution of any issues related to the revenue cycle between SPi Healthcare and the assigned clients. Thought leadership will be an expectation of the Client Executive through publication and/or presentation, preferably with topics surrounding successful interactions with our clients.

The position is also responsible for identifying and generating sales opportunities with existing clients through additional SPi Healthcare service offerings. Also, this position will actively seek new clients in assigned geographic areas for new sales and relationships.

  • Manage and direct client communications and SPi Healthcare service interactions
  • Proactive management of the client’s financial performance, delivering recommendations and results based upon financial metrics
  • Cultivate and foster positive client relationships with physicians, clinicians, and practice administrators for SPi Healthcare
  • Manage client expectations based upon SLAs and effective decision making
  • Work collaboratively with various departments within SPi Healthcare to resolve client concerns or requests
  • Conduct meetings with Operations and Reporting staff to identify areas of concern and assist in the implementation of work flow changes when necessary
  • Lead cross functional teams in delivering high quality work products under set timelines
  • Monitor key billing/collection statistics and compare to national/regional/local benchmarks including, but not limited to, net collections, days in A/R, etc.
  • Manage SPi Healthcare established deliverables and disseminate to key practice members
  • Authoring industry related white papers, articles or web content with heavy emphasis on client success stories
  • Development and presentation of interactive sessions either web or at industry shows with heavy emphasis on client success stories
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Strong professional interpersonal and proven teambuilding skills
  • Detailed Revenue Cycle management skills for report interpretation and application to common sense operations
  • Advanced critical thinking to see the larger picture through the details
  • Proficient experience in disarming conflict and delivering common resolution
  • Effective leadership experience in motivating teams and sharing vision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience with executive level business interaction
  • Demonstrated collaborative consulting approach to client and internal relationships
  • Proven ability to identify potential areas for additional services within current clients
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation
  • Solid understanding of internal billing revenue cycle operations
  • Ability to thrive in a flexible work environment and to adapt to change
  • Ability to successfully work in self-directed environment
  • Must be able to work within the confines of internal teamwork while serving as a client advocate
  • Positive outlook towards issues and ability to develop and deliver resolution
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience required. Advanced degree preferred (eg . MPH, MHA, MBA)
  • Minimum of five years in consulting, healthcare or physician practice required
  • Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle management required
  • Practice management/medical billing computer programs. Epic and IDX experience preferred
