Client Manager
Apigee - Palo Alto, CA
Apigee is seeking a Client Manager to act as the single point of contact for Apigee’s customers post-sales. Your primary responsibility will be to lead our customers on their API Program and ensure customer delight. You will serve as the “person on the inside” for customers and advocate on behalf of them to ensure their voice is heard and needs are being met. You will ensure Apigee’s customers are getting the most out of their investment in and partnership with Apigee.

  • Ensure our customers API programs are a huge success
  • Have deep relationships with our customers at all levels of their API Program, from the project team all the way to the Executive Sponsor
  • Maintain constant communication with Apigee customers to understand the state of their deployments, ensure they are getting the most value out of Apigee (our product and company) and help to identify any new initiatives where Apigee can help
  • Ensure 100% customer delight and 100% renewal rate
  • Work with Sales to articulate and evangelize the value of Customer Success and ensure that existing customers renew with Apigee
Think you might be our next Client Manager? You bring to the table...
  • A keen interest and passion for API’s
  • Excellent client interaction and verbal/written communication skills
  • Strong ability to influence internal and customer decisions, at all levels of an organization (including C-Level)
  • Ability to participate in and drive strategy and solution design discussions and to help customers achieve their desired project goals
  • Excellent project management and project delivery experience
  • Awareness of mobile and social trends
  • Strong technology background and interest
  • Practical experience working within a formal Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), preferably an Agile Methodology
  • Working knowledge and technical acumen in web technologies such as PHP, HTML & JavaScript is desirable
  • Prior experience in the Web Services Management space, Middleware/integration domain is highly desired
