SUMMARY:

Functions as the Client Manager of the OCM division is to maintain the day to day relationship with the customer’s management. Oversee the delivery of various global services as specified in service agreement or customer procedures, while continuing to develop and grow the current business. Services frequently cut across many different phases of the supply chain and multiple vendors of the customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ø

Oversee and manage activities for assigned key accounts as well as supervising the Dedicated on site account manager for each account. Ø

Ensure all customer service level objectives are met Ø

Monitor, properly evaluate, and support staff in daily activities. Ø

Monitor, properly evaluate and support Dedicated Account Managers Ø

Ensure Dedicated Account Managers provide prompt follow up, and plan of action to be taken to remedy any service issue. Ø

Formulates accurate customer forecasts and contributes to budget and business planning process. Ø

Reviews all customer operations KPI’s to determine progress toward stated goals and objectives. Ø

Confers with internal and external executive management to review achievements and discuss required changes in our plan to exceed KPI’s. Ø

Focus on long-term Customer and NYK development, defined by NYK revenue and profit and customer value and satisfaction. Ø

Training and development of Dedicated Account Manager (on-site personnel) Ø

Establishes and frequently reviews developmental action plans that promote positive client growth. Ø

Coordinate and review customer’s services, assess quality and productivity performance and provides appropriate guidance to ensure continuous focus and improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree plus five (5) to seven (7) years of global logistics experience, with several at the management level or equivalent experience.
