Rocket Fuel’s audience detection technology, Audience Accelerator, offers online reach extension to publishers and ad networks seeking to improve and extend the reach, accuracy, and performance for their ad inventory. We seek an experienced client partner to identify opportunities to grow existing client partnerships including increasing revenue and client satisfaction. Specific responsibilities include consulting and expanding the utilization and adoption of the Audience Accelerator reach extension platform, services, and training clients on new audience target sales capabilities.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Work with General Manager and Business Development to upsell Audience Accelerator products and services to existing clients (online publishers and ad networks)
Build strong relationships with key decision makers at clients including executives in sales, marketing, ad operations and revenue as well as their sales teams to ensure long-term success
Create account development plans for clients, work with internal teams to execute and track progress towards revenue goals.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the Audience Accelerator product suite as well as key benefits to clients
Work with product development team to shape and refine publisher products based on client demand
Work closely with Client Services to keep a pulse on what is driving success for client’s campaigns. Share expertise and advise clients on new campaign ideas to generate continued results.
Work with Marketing to create client appreciation and through leadership events
Track and manage sales pipeline and account activities in salesforce.com
Skills and Attributes Required
Strong understanding of online advertising industry from both ad sales and media buying perspective
Strong project management skills and the ability to be an internal advocate for Audience Accelerator client needs
Must be able to build strong working relationships with senior and mid-level clients as well as internal teams
Willing to travel to build/grow client relationships
Excellent business writing, training, communication, organizational and presentation skills
Ability to work independently, while being open to direction and guidance
Good analytical skills in both understanding marketer objectives and analyzing campaign performance
At least 5 years previous experience in a business development, sales or account management role with leading online advertising networks and/or portals or agencies
Proven success in increasing revenue on an assigned book of business year over year
Bachelor's degree from accredited university
Comprehensive experience with MS Office a must
