This role is significant in level and integral to the Region's efforts to grow profitability and provide innovative health and retirement benefits consulting services to Multiemployer and Public Sector clients in the Southeast. The individual will step immediately into a client and revenue management role and be assigned existing clients with accountability for servicing and growing a book of business. The role provides high visibility in working closely with Region leadership and senior colleagues, and the opportunity to hone/develop strong business leadership and strategic planning/implementation skills.

The Role The CRM possesses a thorough knowledge of Segal's range in consulting services and facilitates/coordinates selling activities and the delivery of integrated approaches to servicing client needs. This includes:
  • Leading and participating in new business development and revenue growth initiatives in the Multiemployer and Public Sector Markets,
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships at senior levels within client organizations that goes beyond the consulting assignment and serves the purpose of establishing true partnership with the Company,
  • Developing and implementing strategies to provide high quality, creative and integrated consulting services to clients,
  • Providing technical expertise to colleagues and clients as needed and contributing to the overall professional growth and development of the market.
Key Requirements An undergraduate degree and 7-10 years of health and retirement plan experience within a consulting and/or professional services environment; broad-based expertise in health and retirement benefit plans to include plan design, funding, regulatory and administration aspects; demonstrated experience and success in managing client relationships either on a primary or secondary basis; experience in and/or interest to lead/participate in business development activities; large and/or complex project management experience; proficiency in the use of related software and computer tools; demonstrated success as a relationship builder/collaborator with effective communication skills (oral/written); ability to travel to meet clients and prospects throughout the Country but most often within the South with an emphasis on Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma.
