We are currently seeking a client service rep to handle an ever changing customer base primarily consisting of high risk accounts, large groups, and or newly onboarded accounts. Strong preference for applicants in the Eastern or Central time zones as the customer base the incumbant supports is on the East Coast. Could work from home or at any McKesson location.

The Client Service Rep is directly responsible for supporting the LTC sales districts in need of multiple areas of support. The position will be responsible for tradeshow management, processing sponsorship, charitable donation and advertising requests, organizing and coordinating district sales meetings. The Client Service Rep will assist the LTC sales force with backorder research/management and district specific marketing opportunities/lead management. The Client Service Rep will also be responsible for direct communication with the customer and sales management to assist with high level account support type responsibilities and maintain complete customer satisfaction within assigned accounts. The position will be responsible for basic administration duties and completing additional projects assigned by the district by working with various internal departments such as pricing, contract administration, sales support, customer systems, inventory management, customer implementation, customer service, etc.

Responsible for interfacing with customers prior to and/or after sale. Develops and maintains positive customer relations and coordinates with various functions within the company to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner. This position has authority to substantially affect the relationship between the company and a customer, either from a financial standpoint or product standpoint. Pre-sale: Analysis of customer inquiries to determine appropriate product literature and pricing schedules; influencing production and shipping schedules; recommending price changes based on company/customer relationship; recognizing new business opportunities. Post-sale: Resolving production scheduling, shipping or invoicing problems; determining validity of warranty claims and scheduling repair resources; changing production and shipping schedules; and recognizing add-on business opportunities.

2+ years customer service experience
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Ability to adapt and function in a dynamic, ever changing work environment
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral
  • Work well with others
  • Basic Excel skills (ability to create spreadsheets)

Additional skills that are not required but preferred include:
  • Working knowledge of company products, company functions, marketing and/or service policies and procedures.
  • Exposure to salesforce.com, AS400, Supply Manager

4-year degree or equivalent experience in customer support
