The role of the Client Service Representative is a critical part of ProMedicals ongoing commitment to excellence in customer service. The Client Service position is an important point of contact and advocate for clients and is responsible for managing relationships as well as the ongoing satisfaction. This position will provide telephone and in person support to ProMedical clients who contact ProMedical with concerns, issues, questions and other general requests regarding their account.


  • Assume responsibility for solving customer problems.
  • Make a commitment to continuously increase customer satisfaction.
  • Converse with the variety of customers in the utmost professional manner, even in tense situations. Handle customer questions and complaints politely and efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot specific accounts as needed.
  • Consistently change strategies within the database system.
  • Ensure ProMedical is responding to similar information in an accurate and consistent manner.
  • Research claim information on-line and enter new data into existing claim system as information is received with goals of accuracy.
  • Respond to all inquiries from “customers” (defined as: patients, employers, attorneys, insurance companies, etc.) with goals of timeliness.
  • Provide a working knowledge in the area of Workers Compensation and Automobile Accident claims for states in which ProMedical has clients.
  • Assess and resolve of weekly credit balance reports.
  • Follow through with “Take to Client” (TTC) requests in a timely manner, and respond to co-worker’s request for information.
  • Perform client audits of each individual account to ensure proper allocation of payments and determine accuracy of active accounts
  • Travel to on-site location to perform audit, gather medical records, documentation when necessary
  • Record client inquiries on specific accounts by documenting inquiry and response in the database system, or in the case of general account inquiries, document the wiki as appropriate.
  • Promptly respond to all client inquiries regarding specific accounts or accounts as a whole.
  • Serves as liaison between the clients and various departments within the company.
  • Review the accuracy of our clients’ reports and ProMedical Client Service audits; then report any errors or inaccuracies to the appropriate person.

Qualifications: This position requires a high level of attention to detail, organizational skills, comfort with multi-tasking, and executive relationship management skills. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent telephone and people skills, confidentiality, resourcefulness, patience, and objectivity. Comfortable dealing with difficult situations. Must be goal driven and possess the ability to deal with time sensitive projects and determine priorities. Must be able to travel. Experience with a financial or accounting background a plus. Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
