Client Service Specialist-Insurance
This position is with Caruso Benefits Group, a subsidiary of National Penn.
Complete assigned work within the department and in conjunction with other departments, complying with operating policies and procedures, responding to inquiries and requests for information both internally and externally, maintaining accurate and current records, and providing reports as assigned. May be responsible for supporting the Account Managers.
Ensure all company, division and departmental policies, regulatory and compliance concerns and procedures are effective and implemented.
Responsibilities typically include:
Input client and/or prospect data into agency management systems. Assist in generating and/or reviewing applications, processing client requests and processing rating endorsement follow up. May assist with preparation of proposals upon request and client information kits under direction of the Agency.
Originates, updates, and maintains customer files.
Provide sales and customer service information on a timely basis to ensure reports of same are accurate.
Responsible for and/or assists with the ordering of office supplies and the maintenance needs of the office equipment as directed by Department Manager. Back up for department receptionist, including receiving and directing of interoffice mail, external mail, and deliveries.
High School diploma or GED
Minimum three years insurance industry experience
Current Pennsylvania Department of Insurance license required for the line of business in which they will work; i.e. Property/Casualty or Life/Health, or ability to obtain in 3 months.
Knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel.
