There are 3 key focus areas specific to the Web Operation Services business: Solution Lead Sales efforts around Virtual architectures, Big Bet AS Solutions for Data Center/Cloud Computing, IP enablement and Developing AS penetration plan for operational excellence in coordination with product sales and delivery.

This CSM role will be a Data Center/SW Application specialist and is intended to fulfill the unique requirements for success in overall SP sales. The ideal individual will have strong experience in complex solution selling within the Service Provider business - preferred to have industry specific experience in Data Center and SW applications in large IT networks . Data Center/application sales experience with a proven track record is mandatory. The successful individual will pursue SP customer support business leveraging an understanding of Cisco's Technical, Advanced Services and support offers, how they fit and layer upon one another to maintain operational excellence and Cisco revenues in a series of Major and mid-tier Networks operated by an SP.

Further, the ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record proving an ability to create custom Solutions to address SP Business problems resulting in a strong value proposition in a complex sales environment. This requires building strong trust relationships with decision-makers and senior VP level budget owners within an account. Face to face interaction and interpersonal skills will be required with customers, hardware account teams, AS Sales & Delivery, legal and finance.

The position requires a deep understanding of Cisco tools, customer network and Cisco support components. Creation of value propositions justifying Cisco solution pricing will also be required. This role will interact with and orchestrate activities within SP Operations, Marketing, Planning and Engineering to maximize customer satisfaction and Cisco revenues. Some overnight travel will be required.

Skills: Background in complex, consultative selling in large Enterprise and/or SP accounts; relationships with major SP decision-makers or demonstrated ability to create them; intimate knowledge of SP customer network and operational make-up; background in Data Center architecture and ability to develop complex data center solutions. Grasp of strategy as set by AS service and Hardware sales teams regarding market share and new builds. Strong Grasp of specific Service Provider business processes and timelines. Demonstrated ability to build trust. Attention to detail and patience with processes required.

Candidate needs to be residing in the Seattle, WA area.
Education: 5-10 years sales or business services consulting, BS or BA required, MBA preferred.
