Position Qualifications:

1. High School diploma or equivalent is required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
2. General knowledge of Business Administration, prior health care, homecare, staffing, recruiting or account management experience is strongly preferred.
3. Knowledge of/experience with health insurance, long-term care insurance/payer sources preferred.
4. Demonstrated record of strong interpersonal skills and of successfully taking on increased responsibilities.
5. Proven communication skills.
6. Strong computer skills.

Job Description Summary:

The Client Services Manager will ensure excellent customer service and quality home care services with a strong emphasis on reliable delivery and coordination of client care, growth and development of private duty services and recruitment of qualified direct care staff.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

A. Provides general administrative support, performs HCHB assigned workflow, maintains branch emergency call tree and telephone lists, coordinates emergency drills and performs office safety inspections in accordance with established policy.
B. Maintains personnel records according to established corporate guidelines including employee infection control log. Tracks all renewable requirements for branch personnel. Responsible for coordination of orientation activities, maintains all agency files including storage and retrieval of records.
C. Responsible for branch payroll and billing needs.
D. Manages direct care staff according to all CareSouth policies.
E. Proactively anticipates recruiting needs. Seek/source, interview and on-board quality direct care staff.
F. Manages a caseload of clients. Coordinates all client services. Schedules all new and existing clients. Coordinates supervisory functions and long-term plan with nurse supervisors. Communicates client information to staff as needed.
G. Answers all service inquiries, receives private duty referrals and captures electronically and follows-up on pending referrals. Provides face-to-face client needs assessment if necessary. Promotes services appropriately.
H. Actively seeks to provide information regarding private duty services to patients, families, physicians, case managers, facilities and all other potential referral sources.
I. Informs management of unmet community, referral source or patient needs so that appropriate services and programs may be developed.
J. Promotes/markets potential referral sources. Develops marketing plan and proactively adjusts to promote continuous growth.
K. Facilitates local marketing and recruiting events to build a strong presence in the community. Develops and fosters strong relationships with clients, direct care staff and referral sources.
L. Maintains familiarity with all State and Federal Laws governing private duty homecare services and follows those laws appropriately.
