Education: High School graduate with relevant technical experience, AAS Degree in MIS, Business, related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience supporting Windows desktop/laptop/Citrix/Active Directory environment (roaming profiles, etc)
  • Certification: Citrix, Microsoft, or equivalent experience a plus
  • Solutions oriented, taking initiative on a regular basis finding ways to avoid problems proactively rather than just fixing them after the fact
  • Initiative and ability to identify and resolve customer problems
  • Sharing of knowledge through good communications, peer training and written documentation

  • Job Description:

    This role will be part of the Client Services team responsible to assist in the support and implementation of solutions for client technologies. This includes supporting large migrations and new technology efforts in addition to being a technical resource, providing day to day administration and 2nd level support.

    The client technologies include Microsoft desktops/laptops/Citrix servers/peripheral devices/software, PDA's, etc. The team also supports tools and software for client technologies such as anti-virus, Microsoft Office, Visio, support tools and procedures, and software distribution. You must have strong hands on experience supporting the Windows and Citrix operating systems for a variety of applications with optimum performance. You will assist in the packaging/scripting and use automation to manage a large number of PC Clients and Citrix users . Strong accountability, analytical, organizational and communication skills are a must.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Assist in the delivery new products, operating system upgrades and patches
    • Be familiar with and execute standard operational procedures
    • Execute desktop/laptop build processes
    • Perform systems end user support for Client Services
    • Perform software for distribution as task as documented
    • Perform inventory maintenance processes for Client Services assets
    • Maintain relevant and current knowledge and within assigned technical fields
    • Provide timely support for incidents
    • Provide delivery services as needed
    • Execute configuration management processes, while following all change management guidelines.
    • Provide on call support as required
    • Must adhere to pertinent laws, regulations, First Niagara's Compliance Policy and external compliance requirements.

    • Other Duties as Assigned
