Position Summary

The Client Solutions Associate (CSA) works directly with their local sales team to develop and create unique client focused marketing and advertising strategies to help grow revenue for Time Warner Cable Media. As partners to the Sales Leaders and Account Executives, the CSA must independently analyze and develop marketing strategies to acquire and or retain customers. To do so, the CSA must research the client's needs and market trends in order to develop creative and unique Marketing recommendations to help grow sales efforts. Doing so effectively requires very strong analytic abilities and expert Marketing capabilities. The CSA has independent discretion to recommend the appropriate marketing strategies that will be best serve our sales team members to effectively secure or grow client revenue. This position is complex because it requires the CSA to have expert knowledge of various advanced Marketing techniques and strategies such as quantitative research, promotion recommendations (including financial modeling of promotions) as well as creative judgment to develop the story line that ultimately gets presented to our clients. This position is also complex because the CSA partners with multiple sales managers who have competing priorities. The CSA is solely responsible for allocating their own time to ensure that all sales meetings well prepared for with regards to the Marketing efforts presented to the clients. The CSA has the autonomy to decide and recommend how to best present a marketing campain to a partner Account Executive.

The successful candidate for this position will have demonstrated success in several areas, including:

Key and Target Account Support 50%

The primary focus of the CSA position is to partner with Sales Leaders and AEs in the development of compelling marketing strategies and solutions for our teams' Key and Target accounts.

The Client Solutions Associate is solely responsible for owning and developing the following with regards to Key and Target Accounts:
Client specific media and marketing strategy

Promotions - to include budgetary and legal adherence

Category, Media and competitive research

Unique client specific presentations to help aid sales calls

Compelling client communications

Campaign analytics (i.e. analytics showing the performance of a client post sale)

Use and understanding of secondary market research databases in order to assist Sales Leaders and Sales Staff in analysis of competitive media, industry trends, and market intelligence.
Digital DNA: 20%
Ensure and hold AEs accountable for integration of digital inclusion in all client presentations and promotions.

May act as the "Offer Manager" for digital solutions (such as iTV). In this role, the CSA will work closely with Sales Leaders and Digital Sales Leads to develop and implement digital solutions.

Collaborate with DSLs to deliver meaningful analytics and optimization recommendations to clients/agencies.

May present externally to clients/agencies to promote TWCM's digital product suite (online, VOD, iTV, Online).

Develop and provide ongoing digital product training with Sales.
Strategic Sales Planning Support (Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Budget Targeting): 15%
In collaboration with Sales Leaders and AEs, develop quarterly/ annual client specific strategies and presentations.

Provide analysis of Key and Target Clients, category insights, digital opportunities, market conditions and competitive market analysis.

Develop strong partnerships with assigned markets sales leaders and AEs to help guide them in exploring external growth opportunities.
Manage Effective Promotions 15%
Develop creative, legally compliant, cable-branded promotional opportunities and contests that increase billing, develop new client relationships, and/or service existing clients.

Develop all phases of departmental and client promotions including: conceptualizing promotional ideas, developing proposals, working with local/regional/national suppliers to oversee promotional collateral materials.

Provides guidance in selecting and providing event options to Sales Staff and clients that best meet client needs.

Oversee all necessary legal compliance to include but not limited to affidavits of eligibility, necessary insurance requirements, legal and/or liability documents and proper safety precautions. Negotiate for and acquire promotional prizes/giveaways and handle barter agreements, orders and record keeping, if applicable. Create monthly/quarterly promotional finance analytics/reports.
Skills and Qualifications
3+ years of integrated marketing, agency, Media and/or Ad Sales is highly preferred.

Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communications with skill to translate data, information and research into powerful points of view - ability to craft and tell a compelling story.

Knowledge of cable television, digital products, and advanced advertising products.

Knowledge of research databases, tools and applications, including (but not limited to) Nielsen, Scarborough, MRI, Kantar, BIA/Kelsey, eMarketer and comScore

Familiarity with and experience in digital marketing; understanding of online campaign development, metrics and optimization strategies.

Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite. Also, HTML, Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Flash and FrontPage familiarity helpful.

Knowledge of banner advertising, capturing/digitizing streaming media, image editing and graphic design.

High level of project planning, development and implementation.

Ability to independently organize workflow and to follow through on multiple tasks without supervision.

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related field is preferred.
