The Ocean Beach Medical Clinic is a part of the Ocean Beach Hospital organization which is a 15 bed not-for-profit Critical Access Hospital located on the rural Long Beach Peninsula. The Long Beach Peninsula is home to a new national park, two historic lighthouses, renowned restaurants, cranberry bogs, and oyster farms and is saturated with natural beauty and history, art shops, horseback riding, and fishing charters; it makes for an area with something for everyone.

The hospital provides access to advanced imaging technology, Laboratory, MRI, CT scan, and Life Flight capabilities for major trauma transports. We have a strong network of primary care and subspecialty providers on staff including a full-time Oncology Infusion program. The hospital works toward constantly improving its facilities and acquiring new technology to keep pace with the advances of health care and is currently in the process of implementing an Electronic Medical Records.

This positions responsibility is to work in the Medical Clinic. We offer general surgery, orthopedics, total joint replacements, and eye surgery. As a team player, the ability to manage self and work with all departments in a professional and courteous manner is necessary. This position requires the RN or LPN to be able to operate an ECG machine and other equipment within the clinic. Have flexibility to adjust as needed to fill gaps in staffing needs at any given time. Your ability to multitask and balance working independently but in a team environment is required. A compassionate attitude toward patients is a must. Your ability to communicate with staff and patients in a friendly, caring and professional manner is required. Accurate vital signs are a must. Requirement: You must be a Registered Nurse or LPN with a current WA license. Must have 1-2 years recent clinic experience and a valid CPR card. ACLS (RN only) certification to be completed within the first year of service and as renewal training as designated to maintain certification Preferred: Phlebotomy experience.
