1st Solution USA is working with an award-winning, non-profit, community-owned 235-bed healthcare facility in Arizona. They have engaged us to recruit candidates for their open Clinical Applications Analyst role. In this role you will be responsible for providing top level support and problem resolution within the clinical applications portfolio. Serving as a clinical/technical liaison, your duties will include leading implementations, performing project management, systems development/upgrades and staff training. You will also be responsible for writing detailed technical and non-technical documentation.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES •
Provide top level analytical support for calls that have been escalated or assigned. •
Will round with clinical department designees as assigned in support of high levels of customer service, systems administration and development. •
Train technical and non-technical staff as well as write detailed documentation and training materials. •
Assist is performing routine system maintenance for applications. •
Frequently interact with clinicians, hospital staff and others in the I.T. department.

Qualifications: •
7+ years application support experience •
5+ years administering, developing and supporting clinical systems in an integrated hospital setting. •
Proven experience administering, designing, implementing and supporting one or more of the following is required: Allscripts HMED, SCC SoftLab, OBIX Perinatal, Surgical Information Systems, Mosaiq, Pyxis, Intergy EHR, NextGen, Siemens Soarian Clinicals, Siemens Pharmacy or Medication Administration Checking (MAK) •
Demonstrated advanced data mining and electronic report writing using Crystal, Cognos, MS Access or other reporting tool. •
Thorough understanding of clinical workflow, systems integration, HL7 and security. •
Must be versed in project management, HIPAA/HITEC, Meaningful Use (MU), Software/System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery •
PMP certification (or in process) strongly preferred •
Ability to provide on call rotation support. •
Bachelor’s Degree related to Information Technology preferred. Experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
