In this position, you will instruct and familiarize customers in the operation of equipment at the user's location or TAMS Training Academy; Provide clinical advice to improve utilization of the system and ancillary equipment in an effort to improve the customer's business; Advise customers of system upgrades and their impact on increasing customer's business; Interface with service and sales organization to assure customer satisfaction including problem solving and resolution of any issues.
You will also revisit sites and provide telephone support on a timely basis to experienced users to check progress and provide solutions for current issues/trends; Assist sales personnel in equipment demonstration and offer clinical/technical advice to potential customers; Participate in applications and/or sales meetings, trade shows, and seminars; Evaluate imaging department operation, review this information with Sales, Service, and Customers, then if requested, recommend improvements in overall utilization of resources in the department.
Requires a two year degree in radiology technology or diagnostic, digital imaging or equivalent;
Certification as A.R.R.T. and as a radiologic technologist in one or more modalities;
3 years clinical experience at a hospital or imaging center, preferably previous applications experience;
Excellent verbal communication skills;
Previous teaching experience a plus.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This job requires extensive travel which may entail frequent or extended overnight travel. Although some portion of the weekly working time may be spent in the company's office or the employee's home office, the majority of the essential responsibilities will be performed at customer sites.
This position requires regular visits to medical facilities. These facilities may have certain standards, which all vendor representatives must meet in order to gain access to these facilities, including the requirement for drug, background and health screening. Employment is contingent on your compliance to the standards established by each facility, as evidenced by the results of the required screenings.
