The Clinical Assistant is responsible for database development, programming rater training database and delivering certification for Worldwide Clinical Trials, Inc. (WCT) as assigned. The Clinical Assistant works under the direction of the Manager, Scientific Affairs.

The Clinical Assistant must apply a working knowledge of word processing, database entry and PowerPoint.
The Clinical Assistant is responsible for sending initial site status memos to the CRAs and sites as well as updates for new raters.
The Clinical Assistant must have experience with research and ability to assist in scale management.
ESSENTIAL TASKS AND EXPECTED RESULTS:
Development of rater training database and producing certification/site status memos.
Research into scale acquisition and coordination with WCT and the sponsor to acquire licenses.
Manages training plans, schedules, and deadlines in a timely fashion.
Assists in the development of Rater Training materials under the guidance of the Manager, Scientific Affairs.
Development and review of presentations for adherence to template design and consistency.

Minimum of earned High school diploma and one or more years experience in administering clinical assessments and/or rater training.
The ideal candidate should also have experience in a start up situation and building or implementing databases, as well as standardized processes and procedures.
The successful candidate must be detail- and service-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
He/she must possess excellent writing skills and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Demonstrated ability to establish, monitor, and work within budget parameters.
Excellent ability to work in teams.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain highly effective internal and external relationships through personal influence.
