•High school graduate or equivalent education.
•Related experience in hospital patient access functions.
• Proficient computer skills.

Under direction of the Manager of Care Coordination HUB, the C3A is responsible for updating patient types to the correct admission status and corrects room charges when applicable. Monitors/updates room charges for overflow patients, NICU level charges and makes necessary changes in STAR for boarder babies. Completes daily census responsibilities and reviews/completes prior stay information on Medicare patients. Completes quick reg/full registration for direct admissions or transfer admissions. The Clinical Care Coordination Assistant (C3A) will function in a way that promotes and facilitates patient throughput by working cooperatively with all members of the healthcare team. The C3A is responsible for assisting the Clinical Care Coordinator in managing bed capacity , bed assignment, monitoring and facilitating EVS and Central Transport, and other clerical support as needed.
