Provide case management clinically from intake through recovery case management for all patients applying for admission, assuring that customers’ needs are met. Act as a gatekeeper for potential clients while assuring professional referents, family members, and other stakeholders’ focuses are being met. Conduct pre-admission clinical assessments to determine program appropriateness. Function as an advocate for insurance reimbursement. Function as a member of a multidisciplinary team providing information and direction as it relates to patient care. Provide crisis management services in order to prevent, reduce or eliminate emergencies.
Bachelor's degree required; State of Florida certification/license or state eligible required; knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and other computer skills; minimum two yrs freedom from chemical use problems; minimum 1 yr experience providing counseling in a 12 step program for chemical dependency or working in addiction field desired.
