**Please note: The Clinical Compliance Program Manager is a position with Reliance Rx, a division of Independent Health Corporation (a subsidiary of Independent Health).**

The Clinical Compliance Program Manager will be responsible for working with members and physicians to insure that medications are managed in the most effective manner. This will be accomplished by applying the six essential activities of case management which include assessment, planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation with the core components (process, relationships, health care management, community resources and support, service delivery and psychosocial intervention. In addition to the above responsibilities the individual will work within a multidisciplinary team to help create and deliver value added programs for employers, payers and pharmaceutical manufacturers. In this role the individual will be helping to define and demonstrate the value of nursing intervention in the retention and improved outcomes of patients. The case manager will become well versed in the nuances of all disease states of our patients, and the unique clinical advantages of the products we dispense.

  • Unrestricted license registered nurse, Bachelor’s degree preferred or NYS recognized qualified health care professional with unrestricted license.

  • Five (5) years experience as a qualified health care professional preferbly in an infusion center or in a physcian office infusion suite.

  • Ability to counsel on the proper use of biologic medicines

  • Two (2) years experience working as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.

  • Clinical knowledge of the health or social work needs for the population served.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify barriers to a successful care management path.

  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with physicians and other members of the health care team.

  • PC experience preferred.

  • Maintains confidentiality and uses only the minimum amount of protected health information (PHI) necessary to accomplish job related responsibilities.
