Job Title: Clinical Coordinator - Supportive Housing Programs
Reports to: Program Director
The Clinical Coordinator's responisibilities consist of direct oversight of the program's clinical services, and ensuring delivery of support services to Heads of Households and families.
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides clinical supervision for all direct care staff.
Directly observes delivery of clinical services.
Ensures that the treatment staff maintains accurate and confidential records that comply with external monitoring agency standards and internal policies and procedures.
Conducts regularly scheduled utilizations reviews.
Leads clinical quality management initiatives.
Leads multidisciplinary team meetings.
Reviews housing records to assure regulatory compliance and quality of care.
Assures fidelity to evidence based and promising practices.
Collects and aggregates clinical program performance and outcome data.
Provides regular reports to the Program Director.
Represents Odyssey House at community and public forums.
Performs other duties as requested by the Program Director.
REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION/TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
MSW or CASAC Credentials is a must with three years of direct service experience including service planning and case management for chemically dependent homeless or chronically ill adults, or one year of managerial experience serving as clinical supervisor. Preference will be given to individuals with backgrounds of working with families with a Head of Household with a substance use disorder.
Familiarity with social service delivery systems in the Bronx and Northern Manhattan.
New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Service Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor or Trainee.
Competency with Motivational Interviewing.
Bi-lingual Spanish fluency preferred.
Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000
