This position is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating the educational needs and activities for critical care staff. Coordinates, develops, and presents educational programs to enhance, maintain, and assess competencies of the staff in critical care. Utilizes nursing research and evidence-based practice in critical care nursing as a model for quality initiatives and nursing excellence. Reports directly to the Clinical Director, Critical Care Units.
Education Required : BSN
Licensure/Certification Required: CA RN License, BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association
Experience Required: Minimum five years clinical nursing experience; and minimum two years of Critical Care experience.
