Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in nursing, other related clinical field or equivalent experience. Minimum of 5+ years experience in healthcare information systems or related experience.
Broad based knowledge and competency in both hardware and software applications and systems in a clinical department and /or integrated delivery system environment.

Strong presentation skills are required. R.N. licensure

Travel between all Advocate Health Care sites is a requirement of the job, as well as out-of-town travel as required.
Potential workweek is typically >40 hours.
Flexibility with scheduling, including off shifts and weekends is required.
Primary on-call rotation for 24x7x365 support of the patient care system is required.
Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.

Job Description:
Candidate will work with Care Connections and Surgi-Net

Facilitate the integration of nursing practice with data and information systems to improve the quality of patient care. Responsible to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with administration, information technology and clinical care teams through participation in the planning, development, training, implementation, evaluation, and maintenance of the Clinical Information Systems. Provide support to the physicians, nurses, ancillary, and management by ensuring accurate flow of data and knowledge to improve the foundation of nursing care and administrative systems. Participate in end user training, supports live implementations, and conducts post-live audits for compliance in functionality usage. Deliver timely and high quality problem resolution and escalation services and provide solutions for user questions and requests for information.
