The Clinical Lead will work in conjunction with the POD Management Team, the Quality Assurance nurses and the nurses of their assigned discipline (Case Management, Disease Management, Utilization Review and Pre-cert) to ensure consistency across the POD's. This position will work to not only increase consistency but increase responsiveness and dependability while instilling a real focus on "Care Coordination".

This position will serve as a role model to promote the Quantum Health mission of "Taking the confusion and unnecessary cost out of healthcare for our members, providers and clients" and to be the best loved brand in healthcare.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the oversight of clinical practice of the assigned discipline which does not include HR or administrative aspects as these areas are the POD Managers responsibility.Leading individual Clinical Team meetings held on a weekly basis Coaching, educating and oversight of clinical practices of nurses within the assigned discipline when areas of needed improvements are identified from such sources as audit/monitor results from the Quality Assurance Nurse or by POD Management. Serve as Clinical resource for assigned discipline within each POD Responsible for new hire training and continuing education for assigned discipline Working with POD Managers for coverage/staffing issues to ensure appropriate coverage Utilize tracking tools and monitoring to ensure performance standards are met Serve as the care coordination guru for assigned discipline. Education/Skills Valid, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio Two full years of full-time equivalent of direct clinical care to the consumer Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills Certification in Case Management within 3 years of position Self directed, organized, energetic, compassionate and "out of the box thinker" Extensive knowledge of the Quantum care coordination program. Excellent critical thinking skills.
