Coaches and supervises staff in support of the manager, assists with staffing, coordinates assignments and delegates work to achieve desired results. Acts as a resource to staff on technical issues and provides on-the-job training or oversees orientation of new staff. Provides input to manager on employment decisions of supervised staff; may conduct performance appraisals. Understands departmental budget and decision impacts. Take patient assignment based on the needs of the department. Minimum 5 years OR experience, 2 years leadership experience and BLS/ACLS from AHA required.
