AIBioTech is seeking a Laboratory Specialist for clinical molecular genetic testing. Positions range from Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5pm, Monday-Friday from 2pm-10:30pm (2 nd shift), and Tuesday-Saturday from 11am-7:30pm. Bench work rotations and weekend shifts when required.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
Perform high volume clinical testing using rtPCR, microarray, and next-generation sequencing technology.
Assist in daily laboratory operations and diagnostic testing when needed.
Understand and follow CAP/CLIA quality assurance and quality control guidelines.
Analyze and review raw data.

Clinical Molecular & Genetic Diagnostics Scientist I

QUALIFICATIONS - Scientist I
Must have BS plus 2-5 years' experience in molecular biology including DNA sequencing or molecular diagnostics.
MT or MLS (ASCP) certification is a favorable.
Familiarity with CLIA compliance and high-throughput clinical sample testing is recommended.
Demonstrate extensive knowledge of gene sequencing and molecular methodologies.
