Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian with at least 2 years’ experience for a Clinical Nutrition Manager position at Sibley Memorial Hospital. This is a 345 bed, state of the art, acute care hospital, located in NW Washington, DC.

The ideal candidate will have prior clinical nutrition management experience in an acute care setting and a strong commitment to excellence in patient care! The selected candidate will have the proven ability to establish proactive relationships with the medical and nursing staff, be a team player, maintain excellent communication and customer service skills and possess strong project management skills.

Familiarity with the nutrition care process and with the Epic system for electronic health record charting would prove helpful to support the current system conversion and implementation to electronic charting.
Prior experience with Sodexo’s Premier room Service program “AT Your Request” or a room service system of dining would also be beneficial in this position.

Responsibilities of this position include directing the efforts of the clinical nutrition services team, registered dietitians, and clinical nutrition programs for the inpatient and outpatient population.
Other responsibilities include providing staff training, oversight of the diet office team, which includes a staff of 10 and the production line.
In addition, the selected candidate will be responsible for working directly with the Patient Services Manager to transition into the computerized systems, Epic And the Health Touch system, designed for Sodexo’s Premier room Service program.

Position Summary:
Coordinates and directs the efforts of clinical and patient care dietitians, as well as other staff members within one or two sites. Responsible for meeting JCAHO/state/federal and company standards. This position is the primary liaison with medical and nursing staff.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree Basic Management Experience - 1 year
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian.

Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
