Lakeland HealthCare is seeking an experienced and dedicated pharmacist to join our Top 100 team! This position will serve as a Clinical Pharmacist and also assist with the optimization of our EHR vendor’s pharmacy module as an EHR Analyst. It is expected that hours will be split equally between the two roles.


The staff Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for providing daily patient focused clinical pharmacy services to inpatients and outpatients of all age groups of Lakeland Regional Health System. These services include medication dosing, chart review, patient education, floor rounds, and physician intervention. Clinical pharmacists will be assigned to participate on committees and give special reports. Clinical pharmacists will rotate through the distributive pharmacy as scheduled.

T he EHR Analyst is responsible for the ongoing maintenance, support, and optimization of EHR software. Works collaboratively with EHR Project Managers for implementations, post-implementation activities, upgrades, and optimization. Develops and maintains a positive working relationship with physicians and user departments to ensure appropriate training and utilization of EHR. Interacts with internal departments to understand EHR business requirements.


A Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited Pharmacy school and possess current state licensure as a registered pharmacist. Pharm.D. and an ASHP-Accredited Residency, Board Certification, or equivalent clinical experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Management and/or equivalent education/experience in healthcare related field preferred. The ideal candidate should have a history of working with multidisciplinary teams, with an emphasis on quality, patient safety, and the patient/family experience. Project management, informatics, and/or workflow analysis experience required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required. Previous experience with implementing, configuring and/or supporting vendor supplied software preferred.

This position will support the ongoing maintenance, support, and optimization of EPIC's Willow module. Applicants will be required to complete an assessment test provided by EPIC as part of the hiring process.
