The Registered Pharma cist is responsible for the provision of pharmaceutical care to all patient age groups (including geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric and neonatal patients). They are responsible for the preparation, dispensing and monitoring of both the prescribing and effectiveness of all medications and IV admixtures. They exercise considerable independent decision making.
Successful completion of a Site Personnel General Orientation. Successful Completion of Department Specific Orientation.
Graduate of an ACPE- accredited college of Pharma cy , or a foreign equivalent educational degree; with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, Pharm D and successful completion of a Post Graduate Year 1 residency License: Current Registration in New Jersey as a Licensed Registered Pharma cist
Experience: Familiarity with all phases of Hospital Pharma cy. Working knowledge of public health matters. Familiarity with Federal and State laws regulating professional and hospital practice of Pharma cy. Understands role of Hospital Pharma cy Department within the Hospital, its interrelationships with other departments and functions..
