We have an exciting new opportunity to join our team of oncology professionals at Hematology Oncology Associates of Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation - our newest Regional Community Oncology Practice in Streeterville.
The Clinical Records Clerk is responsible for managing the retrieval, filing, sorting, prep-to-scan and scanning activities along with maintenance activities related to both incoming and outbound patient medical records.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills and will interface with patients, physicians, administrative and clinic staff to assure record readiness for physician clinics/team meetings and resolve/clarify requests for release of information. In addition, the ideal candidate will have demonstrated customer service skills, including the ability to use appropriate judgment, independent thinking, and creativity when resolving customer issues
Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as the ability to use personal computers and select software applications is desired.
High School diploma or equivalent is required with demonstrated proficiency with computer systems. Medical Records experience along with knowledge of electronic medical records systems is preferred.
