The Clinical Research Coordinator will work with the T1D Exchange Biobank Manager and Clinical Research Coordinators to provide support for that project, as well as the Diabetes Program Co-Managers to support additional DCRP studies. Tasks will include contacting labs to arrange participant visits, assembling and shipping test kits to study participants, data entry, participant reimbursement, preparing for study visits, shipping study supplies, receiving samples and distributing to appropriate lab (may require off-site delivery), ordering and maintaining supplies for studies and special projects as assigned. There may be some monitoring of clinical sites (which may require travel), as well as work with IRB submissions and cost invoicing.


Requires strong attention to detail and ability to work well in a team are essential to this position. Solid, responsible person with organizational skills and a good working understanding of computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). Data entry background is essential with some knowledge of type 1 diabetes and experience in research and specimen processing is helpful. Bachelor’s degree and demonstrated interest in biomedical and clinical research (e.g. experience as a Clinical Research Assistant) strongly preferred. Minimum of 1 years related experience required.
