University of Nevada School of Medicine Integrated Clinical Services Inc. is currently recruiting for a Clinical Research RN to support the Research Division within the Internal Medicine Department.

The primary responsibility of the Clinical Research Registered Nurse (RN) is to implement and coordinate research projects conducted through the Internal Medicine Research Department under the supervision of the Director of Research and the Chair of the Internal Medicine Department. The incumbent will be accountable to ensure that research is conducted in compliance with all federal, state, local and other regulatory bodies, while effectively coordinating a portfolio of trials, and facilitating participant accrual to appropriate trials. This position will follow study-specific protocol guidelines and interacts with primary and secondary investigators, physicians, staff, sponsoring agencies and others to effectively perform clinical research activities. The Clinical Research Nurse will be also responsible for working with the Research Director in the oversight and operational management of the research staff.

Other duties as assigned.

Current active Nevada State RN License in good standing required. BSN preferred. Minimum of two (2) years of clinical research experience in the areas of recruitment, enrollment, monitoring and reporting data on clinical trial participants is preferred. Requires current CPR certification.

Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, and medical office software, possess excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills to communicate with faculty, staff, and patients; ability to identify urgency and prioritize tasks; possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage time and multi-task effectively. Candidate must have the ability to work under pressure and maintain professionalism, as well as adapt to new situations and changing priorities.

This is an exempt (salaried) position.
