DESCRIPTION

The Anxiety Disorders Clinic seeks to hire a Clinical Researcher as a postdoctoral candidate for a 2 year position, contingent upon continuous funding.
This candidate will assist will all aspects of Dr. Simpson's clinical research program focused on obsessive-compulsive and related disorders. One responsibility will be to provide cognitive-behavioral treatment for adults with OCD as part of a NIMH-funded trial.

DUTIES

The candidate will also help with project management, diagnostic assessments, participant recruitment and outreach, data collection and analysis, grant writing and preparing publications.
Candidates will work with a multi-disciplinary team and will receive clinical and research supervision from experts in the treatment and research of OCD.

QUALIFICATIONS

License eligibility anticipated after 1 year. Applicants must have completed an APA accredited doctoral program and internship with specialization in clinical psychology.
Applicants must also have experience with OCD and delivering exposure and response prevention and in administering structured diagnostic assessments. Prior experience working on a clinical trial and excellent analytic and writing skills are strongly recommended.
Start date: July 1, 2013 or earlier.
