The Clinical Services Manager is responsible for supervisory and administrative duties that drive the performance/efficiency of the clinical staff as well as the organization-wide clinical policies and procedures. The Manager will monitor staffing by delegating and coordinating tasks to ensure proper quality care and efficient patient flow, oversee staff performance through evaluations and ongoing interactive processes, and implement training to maintain a high level of clinical competency. Additional duties include developing a departmental budget and regularly monitoring operational expenses to meet budgetary goals, managing all regulatory programs to ensure compliance, and implementing efficient processes for supply/medication ordering, inventory control, and equipment maintenance.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 to 5 years of successful experience as a supervisor in a health care organization. Completion of an LVN program and a CA LVN license are required. A college degree (Bachelor of Science in Nursing or related field) and current California RN license is preferred. The ideal candidate must have Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience, preferably with EPIC and Centricity, and will be responsible for accurate EMR documentation of patient visit data. Additional competencies include the ability to room patients and take their vital signs, administer injections, complete EKGs and assist with procedures. The optimum team player must be able to multi-task and consistently be a role model in the delivery of positive patient relations and customer service.
