Jewish Family Services of Northeastern New York is currently seeking a professional Clinical Supervisor to provide supervision and administration to clinical staff and MSW students, and clinical supervision to other program staff, and to contribute to a positive teamwork environment. The Clinical Supervisor will also be required to provide direct casework service to our diverse client population, including individuals, couples, and families for issues including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, grief & loss, abuse & trauma, self-identity, sexuality, and life changes.
The clinician selected to fill this full-time position will have a Masters degree in human services, with the highest level of state licensure attained (LCSW-R) and a minimum five year’s supervision and program oversight experience, preferably in a non-profit setting.
The basic responsibilities of this position include: clinical supervision for staff and students; direct service to clients in both office and in-home settings; clinical program planning, management and quality assurance; community and professional outreach; and other duties as assigned by Executive Director.
The ideal candidate will possess: demonstrated leadership skills and ability to foster strong working relationships; a professional appearance; excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal); the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced and demanding work environment; proven community outreach and organization skills; proficiency in MS Office programs; outstanding organizational abilities; and a sensitivity to issues of cultural diversity and its impact on individual and family behavior.
