Assist Clinical Management staff on all specified areas of clinical processes. Assist with the management of clinical data base. Act as liaison between ATR staff and clinical department. The individual in this position will be a member of the telephone-based project to engage with Persons in Recovery (PIR) identified as in treatment, seeking treatment and / or recovery support services, providing support to identifying community based resources/ linkages within the general community. The process is not a therapeutic model but an intervention.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide telephonic outreach to persons seeking or engaged in recovery supports or treatment aligned with the strategic plan of the Department of Behavioral Health for the Office of Addiction Services and procedures as written in the TRIP Procedural Manual implementing forms and scripts to complete assigned tasks.

Collaborate with DBH Office of Addiction Services, providers, and other systems, participating in community outreach forums and efforts.

Data collected will be entered into the BHSI-Database and Voucher Management System (VMS) Documenting frequency of calls.

Referrals to other services or agencies.

Develop, maintain and update resource and referral manual for project.

Ensure all required paperwork and data collected on PIR is properly documented and completed daily.

Develop, update, maintain and distribute a resource manual to assist individuals that have alcohol and other drug challenges, their families and communities at large that we serve.

Screen and complete intake information on incoming calls from PIR as needed.

Assist with referral process by calling facilities to make referral to treatment.

Check and verify eligibility information on PIR using MAMIS software and BHSI system.

Refers and schedules PIR to Outpatient facilities.

Bilingual skills preferable

Will be required to work evening rotational schedule.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Additional duties including but not limited to:

Provide coverage at reception desk as necessary, directing calls to appropriate BHSI personnel.

Conduct new employee training for intake process and TRIP calls

Present BHSI/ TRIP processes to external venues and agencies.

Provide resources to persons in recovery, and resource coordination across the DBHIDS system.

Skills Required:
Writing and verbal communication skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and familiarity with inputting client information into database: Ability to help create structure, modify its parameters, and adapt to the demands of a variety of systems: familiarity and ease with geographically diverse staff. Problem-solving skills that mediate concerns through innovative solutions: administrative skills: attention to detail, willingness and ability to conduct multiple tasks and ability to participate in evaluation protocols. Data entry chart and graph formation experience a plus.
