The primary focus of this position is responsible for department sales and profit by creating a memorable experience for each and every customer. Ensures the delivery of fast and friendly service, quality products and a clean, safe store environment. Makes balanced decisions between driving sales and managing costs to achieve long-term, sustainable growth.

High School education with previous restaurant, retail or customer service management experience. Must have excellent oral and written communications for dealing with customers, employees, and vendors. Must be able to perform basic math computations. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds very frequently (51-80% of time worked) and 60 pounds rarely (0-5% of time worked). Must be able to push and pull up to 50 pounds up to 30% of the time. Must be able to stand, climb ladders, balance, stoop, kneel, and reach.

The primary focus of this position is to ensure the successful operation of the Bakery department. This individual is responsible for obtaining maximum sales and gross profits through effective utilization of personnel and resources available, while meeting Coborn’s Wildly Important Goals of being the Best Place to Work and Best Place to Shop.

Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Office Suite and email systems. Possess a current state driver’s license and valid insurance with the ability to travel to business locations as needed.
