Information Security Analyst
Mindbank Consulting Group has an immediate opening with a prestigious federal law enforcement agency for an Information Security Analyst to support a team performing the requirements analysis and review of high-level design, detailed design, code development, integration and testing of an object-oriented and COTS based solution. This is a 6 month contract to hire engagement with a federal integrator offering a nationally relevant project assignment coupled with a competitive salary/benefits package and excellent opportunities for professional growth and recognition.
Due to the nature of the work US Citizenship as well as an Active Top Secret clearance is required for this position.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/PROJECT TASKS
Provide senior-level systems security support to a team responsible for performing the requirements analysis and review of high-level design, detailed design, code development, integration and testing of an object-oriented and COTS based solution
The Senior Lead Systems Security Engineer will: review, decompose and validate system security requirements; review security-related system design details; communicate with customers and other stakeholders to provide Defense in Depth and present technical briefings at Technical Interchange Meetings and Design Reviews.
Write security and Certification and Accreditation (C 10+ Years with AA; 8+ Years with BS; 6+ Years with MS, 3+ Years with PhD
Demonstrated understanding of secure systems engineering, development, implementation and testing, including system/security requirements analysis, system/security requirements allocation, trade-off analysis, system security analysis, and secure system definition and specification development.
Ability to perform in accordance with Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level 3 best practices.
Strong presentation skills.
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Proficiency with PCs and MS Office/Project to develop technical documentation.
Preferred Skills and Certifications:
Experience supporting the development of Security Plans
Proven capabilities to work with, interview and obtain essential information from Program Managers, uniformed military personnel, developers, system administrators and others to support a CandA process from beginning through a systems life-cycle
Certifications/knowledge of OWASP, CISSP, Security+
Experience in implementation and /or operation of secure COTS product solutions
Salary Range: $95,000 to $100,000 Annually
