This position is responsible for monitoring collateral for all loan types to ensure adequate collateralization of properties is maintained. The position reviews various collateral items to the core system for accuracy and completeness and prepares various status reports. The position provides support for internal and external Customers and other staff members. Exemplifies the "Ways to AMAZE!" Customer Service Philosophy.

Principal Responsibilities

Input Collateral into core banking system for new loans, or make appropriate changes to the collateral screens as needed.

Input Collateral into the Collateral Database.

Review Mortgages and forward Mortgages to search company for recording with the county recorder of deeds.

Input new UCC filings into Lien (electronic filing with UCC Direct).

Amend UCC’s as needed into Lien.

Continue and terminate UCC’s as procedures dictate.

Encumbering vehicle titles electronically though Vintek.

Research for incorrect VIN and vesting differences through Vintek and Penndot.

Prepare Satisfaction pieces according to established procedures.

File the negotiable collateral in the collateral vault under dual control.

Semi-annual audit of negotiable collateral held.

Prepare various status reports and provide support to the management team.

Prepare the Marketable Securities Report on a monthly basis.

Performs all other duties as assigned.


High school education or equivalent knowledge and skills.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Work is performed in an office setting. Working extended hours may be required as needed. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
