VHDA, Virginia's Housing Finance Agency, is looking for a Collections Manager to oversee various collection activities for its single family portfolio of approximately 50,000 loans. VHDA is a self-supporting, not-for-profit organization created by the Commonwealth of Virginia in 1972, to help Virginians attain quality, affordable housing. The SF Collections Manager will direct single family collection activities for the Homeownership Division including: collections and early loss mitigation with emphasis on reducing and controlling delinquency levels. This position reports directly to the Assistant Director of Default.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in all aspects of SF Loan Collections, default administration, and excellent oral and written communications skills. Must be able to demonstrate strong leadership and management skills under somewhat stressful circumstances. Business acumen, production and strong customer service skills also required.
