College Marketing & Sourcing Manager
(CMSM) is responsible for leading marketing, branding, online talent community building, and strategic sourcing within the College Recruitment (CR) function. This marketing and sourcing leadership position requires a highly-skilled marketing and sourcing subject matter expert to partner with CR recruiting team members and the Talent Acquisition Marketing Team to lever existing (and emerging) technologies and capabilities to develop marketing/branding and sourcing strategies that result in college talent community pipelines that support UnitedHealth Group's strategic goals. The CMSM is responsible for the build out of the CR Strategic Marketing & Sourcing Plan (SMSP) and in turn overseeing the transactional marketing and sourcing execution for prioritized positions and talent community building. The College Marketing & Sourcing Manager is responsible to ensure that proactive pipelining goals are met according to the CR hiring plans. The TMSM will act as a coach and SME to the CR recruiting team related to the ideation, implementation and adoption of marketing/branding, strategic sourcing, and talent community building methodology, approach, tools and technology. The TMSM is accountable for execution against the CR strategic marketing/branding and sourcing plan and ongoing analysis of plan components and their effectiveness.
Â· Responsible for development of overall marketing/branding and pipeline strategies to ensure college recruiting talent pools are available to meet the growth needs of the business. The College Marketing & Sourcing Manager will assume positive intent at all times while partnering closely with the CR and College Recruitment Diversity Master Sourcer and business partners (including Campus Leads and Teams) and Talent Acquisition Marketing team to develop branding/marketing strategies and college-related acquisition/sourcing strategies
Â· Build, oversee the development, and implement/guide the execution of the College Strategic Marketing, Branding, and Sourcing Plan including, but not limited to social and interactive, search engine optimization, media mix (including on-campus conferences, search engine marketing, banner advertising, print/traditional media, etc), CRM, ERP, mobile, and all other sourcing, branding & marketing channels.
Â· Assist in development and oversight of the execution of the diversity marketing and sourcing strategy within the CR function (in support of the overall diversity talent strategies at the enterprise level.)
Â· Accountable for the college candidate brand experience including, but not limited to, social networks, college careers website, mobile website, podcasting, virtual chats, social integration, and on-campus or virtual career fairs.
Â· Build and execute plans to support both transactional and proactive college-level talent community pipelining efforts.
Â· Monitors sourcing, marketing & branding effectiveness for the CR function.
Â· Demonstrate and manage best practices related to launch of sourcing strategies within the CR space. Drive the execution of the functional strategic sourcing plan and perform analytics on sourcing channel effectiveness to maximize results.
Â· Act as a functional Subject Matter Expert to ensure recruiters and campus team members are experts in the UnitedHealth Group employer brand, opportunity and EVP, where to find on-campus talent and how to convert leads to candidates.
Â· Partner with Marketing team and College Recruiting Teams in the execution of on-campus candidate relationship strategies including general and custom CRM approach and ERP strategy.
Â· Partner with Marketing team and Director of Diversity in the execution of national MBA recruiting events
Â· Analyze functional metrics / scorecard, providing trend assessment and project prioritization for the functional team.
Â· Maintains Leader Point of View and acts as SME and project team participant and/or project manager on assigned RS projects. Communicates the whys behind marketing and sourcing initiatives to the CR team in an effort to aid in change management. Acts as a change agent/champion for new initiatives (e.g. social media, internal mobility, Taleo 10 deployment).

Skilled at leveraging marketing strategies to address business needs and solve business issues.
Experienced at building and engaging talent communities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong customer orientation and analytical skills.
Experienced in customer acquisition strategy development and execution, as well as source channel analysis to guide and inform future decision making.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously to effectively address priorities
Demonstrated ability to act as a continuous learner, understanding complex business strategies and recommending appropriate branding, marketing, and interactive solutions.
Must have strong active listening skills and ability to recognize blind spots.

Must be curious and embrace change.
BS/ BA degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.
3-5 years of consumer marketing or related experience required
Prior supervisory/managerial experience preferred
Understanding of CRM systems (Siebel), Content Management Systems, mobile technologies required, Applicant Tracking Systems (Taleo) preferred.
Some HTML experience preferred
Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Advanced proficiency in Social media Strategy and Engagement required
Working knowledge of Google Analytics highly desired
