Minot State University invites applications for the position of Dean of the College of Business. We are seeking a dynamic, experienced and innovative person to strengthen the vibrant College of Business. The successful candidate will have unique opportunities to advance the College through development and growth of initiatives in entrepreneurship, leadership, international partnerships, program and delivery development, and fund raising. In particular, she/he will help guide the innovative Severson Entrepreneurship Academic to maturity.
The Dean of the College of Business is the chief academic officer of the College, reporting directly to the Vice President for Academic Affairs. In conjunction with the faculty, staff and university administration, the Dean is responsible for the implementation and delivery of educational, research, and service programs within the college, consistent with the mission of the College of Business and Minot State University. The College is IACBE accredited.
Minot State University seeks a dean who is an advocate for the College of Business. The Dean should be a progressive thinker with at least three years of administrative experience, a record of integrity in leadership, strong scholarship experience, and exemplary teaching. The Dean should be experienced with the use of technology in teaching and delivery of on-line, hybrid and low-residency programs. The Dean should also be experienced in fiscal and personnel management, be committed to diversity and possess interpersonal skills that support fundraising. The Dean will possess an earned doctorate in a business-related discipline.
